Today a flashover training was scheduled in the trainingscenter from the Dallas Fire Department. 5 persons took the chance to follow the flashover training which didn’t only contain some theoretical knowledge about the flashover but also included an actual flashover training in the outside container. Barbara Dhondt, Paul Van Der Plas, Davy Van Colen, Kevin Patho and David Daelman all went inside the flashover container and completed the course with succes. Also Barbara, who is a nurse completed the flashover training with glance. Congratulations to all who completed the course, with a special note to Barbara who isn’t a fire fighter!
Vandaag stond er een flashover training op het programma in het trainingscenter van de brandweer. 5 personen namen de kans om deze training te ondergaan met beide handen aan. Barbara Dhondt, Paul Van Der Plas, Davy Van Colen, Kevin Patho en David Daelman gingen allen in de flahsover contaner en vervolmaakten de cursus met glans. Barbara, die verpleegkundige is, onderging ook de cursus en sloeg ook met grote onderscheiding in deze cursus. Van harte proficiat aan allen die deze cursus ondergaan hebben met toch een speciale vermelding van Barbara haar prestatie, een staaltje van kunnen als niet brandweervrouw!
Tomorrow we’ll head out to the DFW airport where we’ll visit the airport fire department and look at some demonstrations on site.
Morgen gaan we richting de luchthaven van DFW waar we een bezoek zullen brengen aan de brandweer en we enkele demonstraties kunnen bijwonen.
